SYDNEY, 20 June 2019 – Vitex Pharmaceuticals’ CEO, Dr Aniss Chami delivered the keynote speech at the 16th edition of the World Forum for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) 2019 held on Wednesday 19 June 2019 in Sydney, Australia.
Since 2003, the World Forum for FDI has been providing inspiration straight from the most successful leaders and visionaries in the industry, giving attendees the opportunity to receive practical training from FDI experts. The World Forum aims to bring together expanding companies and service providers from across the globe to network and forge long–lasting relationships. Over three days, economic leaders and decision-makers from across the globe gathered in Sydney to discuss corporate investment strategy and expansion opportunities. Sydney was the ideal host for this world leading forum, being Australia’s most populous with the largest economy, and home to more multinational companies than any other.
Dr Chami’s keynote speech regarding Emerging Markets and Sustainable Developments concluded with a panel discussion facilitated by CNN’s highly regarded lead anchor and correspondent, Richard Quest. The discussion led by Dr Chami and two panellists – Neha Jetley, Founder & Director, EZspend Prepaid Payment Solutions Pvt. Ltd (India) and Patrick Fiel, Senior Vice President, EdgeConneX (USA) – covered topics on sustainable development and the emerging markets that would benefit most from being at the forefront of innovative design.
The impressive program was curated by the Invest NSW team to showcase New South Wales as a cosmopolitan and regional powerhouse.
