MELBOURNE, Australia, 24 November 2017 – Vitex Pharmaceuticals Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Dr Aniss Chami was presented with the Manufacturing Executive of the Year Award in the 2017 CEO Magazine Awards. Dr Chami was also previously nominated for the Health and Pharmaceutical Executive of the Year in 2016.
The prestigious awards set out to acknowledge the efforts of business leaders both new and veteran, and reward those who made notable difference in the corporate world during the 2016/2017 Financial Year.
Nominees included manufacturing executives across Australia country from several industries, however Dr. Chami ultimately being recognised for his commitment to modern pharmaceutical manufacturing. The audience included over 500 distinguished guests from the country’s most respected brands and industries. The Awards announcement follows the successful opening Vitex’s new world-class manufacturing plant based in Eastern Creek. The facility is expected to be the largest contract manufacturing site for tablets and capsules in Australia for complementary medicine
Vitex’s new facility is expected to create more than 300 highly skilled jobs in the area, helping the Western Sydney economy grow in line with the future development plans for the region.
